Our Advanced Targeted Filtration System (ATF) allows us to target and remediate many common issues that can arise in winemaking, including acetic acid and ethyl acetate, smoke taint, 4-EP/ 4-EG taints associated with Brettanomyces, frost taint, water dilution, as well as other molecular taints.
This system also incorporates Ultra Filtration (UF), providing the ability to achieve color, sugar, and tannin concentration in both juice and wine.
ATF allows exacting control of alcohol content, allowing for ideal wine balance and fruit expression (sweet spotting) or complete removal of alcohol (<0.5% abv) to create novel new products.
Introducing Intensify by Four Feathers
Intensify is a winemaker’s secret weapon to build color intensity, depth, and complexity in finished wines. Wine integrity is assured through the use of 100% Columbia Valley vinifera grapes, microbial stability, and no added alcohol or residual sugar often associated with wine blend additives.
Intensify is created with estate Cabernet Sauvignon from McNary Vineyard passed through a flash détente for color extraction, specially fermented to reduce bitterness, and concentrated by ultrafiltration. The result is a wine additive that helps mitigate the common issues of vintage variation, underripe fruit, and the effects of wine remediation treatments.
