Tom Merkle
Director of Vineyard Operations
Tom Merkle is Director of Viticulture at Four Feathers Wine Services. Tom is a second-generation grape grower who began his career in agriculture working on family-owned orchards in eastern Washington.
After a brief stint at Boeing, Tom returned to his roots to help manage a prominent local vineyard/orchard company which was eventually purchased by Zirkle Fruit Company. In 2017, Tom was named honorary grower of the year by the Auction of Washington Wines. In his spare time, Tom enjoys restoring classic cars as well as hunting, fishing and boating in the great Pacific Northwest.
